Dr. Eric Luper
Dr. Luper discovered chiropractic through his father’s long struggle with neck and low-back pain—after surgeries and medications failed, chiropractic finally helped him get back to doing what he loved. That experience inspired Dr. Luper to pursue chiropractic care as a gentle, effective approach to health.
He earned his bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University and his chiropractic doctorate from Northeast College of Health Sciences, graduating as class president. He later worked in a multidisciplinary practice alongside medical doctors and physical therapists, caring for everyone from professional athletes to families, before moving to the Albany area and opening Peak Performance Chiropractic.
Dr. Luper believes communication is key—he takes time to explain care, answer questions, and help patients understand their recovery. Outside the office, he enjoys time with his wife Elaine and children Ethan and Lily, traveling, working in his metal forge, and writing children’s books.
