Dr. Richard Ziarkowski

Born and raised in Lackawanna, NY, Dr. Richard Ziarkowski (“Dr. Z”) earned his Doctor of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College in 1998. He is the owner of Universal Chiropractic and South Buffalo Chiropractic and is known for delivering patient-centered care with a focus on multidisciplinary collaboration, personalized treatment plans, and in-depth post-surgical spine rehabilitation.

Dr. Z holds advanced certifications in several specialized techniques, including the Koren Technique (2007), Kennedy Decompression Technique (2008), Neuromechanical Technique (2009), and the Whitten Technique (2014). He was also one of the first providers to offer affordable spinal decompression in Western New York, helping patients access conservative, non-surgical options for spine-related conditions.

Dr. Z’s mission is to improve each patient’s quality of life through personal dedication, education, and cutting-edge, conservative care—helping people heal and return to active living without surgery whenever possible, and in the most affordable way he can.
