Dr. William Wirchansky
Dr. Wirchansky is a board-certified neurosurgeon specializing in both brain and spine surgery, with decades of experience serving patients throughout New York City. His path to medicine was shaped by a deeply personal experience—witnessing his father’s struggle with a debilitating neurological condition at a time when effective treatments were limited. What once created hesitation toward medicine ultimately became the driving force behind his commitment to neurosurgery and patient care.
Dr. Wirchansky has held numerous senior leadership roles across major New York City hospitals. He currently serves as Director of Neurosurgery at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Previously, he was Director of Neurosurgery at St. Barnabas Hospital Health System in the Bronx and Associate Director of Neurosurgery at Lutheran Medical Center.
