Ralph Ortiz, D.O.

Ralph Ortiz, D.O., MPH is the Medical Director of Medical Pain Consultants in Dryden, where he has been delivering compassionate, comprehensive pain management care for more than two decades. Dr. Ortiz founded Medical Pain Consultants in 2002 with a clear mission: to provide a critically important range of medical services focused on managing and alleviating severe and chronic pain through individualized, patient-centered treatment.

Dr. Ortiz earned his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University in 1998, where he also completed an Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine Fellowship and a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree. His advanced training included extensive work in non-surgical orthopedics and interventional pain techniques, forming a strong foundation for his holistic approach to pain care. He completed his residency at Palmetto General Hospital in Hialeah, Florida.

Dr. Ortiz specializes in a wide range of non-surgical pain management treatments, including Trigger Point Injection Therapy, Regenerative Injection Therapy (RIT/Prolotherapy), Neural Blockades, and other advanced interventional procedures. He also emphasizes the appropriate and responsible use of opioid analgesic medications when clinically indicated, always prioritizing patient safety and long-term wellness.
